The Nightlife in Reykjavík

The nights in downtown Reykjavík are colorful. There are countless cafés and restaurants with brilliant services and gourmé menus. Bars are side by side on Laugarvegur, Hafnarstræti and Hverfisgata. Many clubs have great music and dancing is very popular in Iceland. The clubs are open Friday and Saturday nights, but bars and cafés are open every weekday but longer on weekends.

The Icelandic people tend to go first to parties at friends houses and then go in groups downtown to bars or clubs. The nightlife in Reykjavík is famous for excitement. People from all over the world travel to Iceland to experience the wonderful nightlife and culture of the capital.
